Optimise your meta tags
Use headings but only use 1 H1
Use title and ALT tags on images
Optimise the body text
Use HTML Navigation
Avoid redirect but if you need to use 301 serverside
Upload XML sitemap
Load the sitemap in a Google webmaster account
Verify your website in Google webmaster account
Robots.txt
